American Fork is a beautiful community of 25,596 at the base of majestic Mt. Timpanogas. Recreational opportunities abound in the area, including swimming, golfing, water skiing, snow skiing, fishing, hiking, camping, tennis, etc. American Fork is a very family oriented community. There are many programs for the youth, both cultural and recreational.

Two BC/BE internists are sought to work as Hospitalists.
The group is expanding due to demand.

The 120-bed American Fork Hospital with 8-bed ICU went through a $32 million expansion that was completed in 2002.

The American Fork hospital has been around since 1937. They currently have 120 beds and more than 200 physicians representing more than 25 specialties on the medical staff. Our critical care unit provides intensive, specialized medical care to patients who may be in a potentially life-threatening condition. The hospital's new east wing, added in spring 2002, houses the completed Adult Intensive Care Unit with eight adult intensive care beds. Each room is equipped with state-of-the-art technology. We have 6 OR's and the ER treats 90-100 patients per day. They deliver almost 3000 babies per year at this facility as well.
