Salary -$189,300 plus up to 6% incentive bonus based on quality and production. Current hospitalists make between $220,000 and $250,000k plus 12% (at least 20k) retirement contribution and all other benefits included. $4600.00 CME stipend. A Cap of 18 patients in an 11 hour day. 7a-6p and 7p-6a. 12 day shifts and 2 night shifts -14- 15 shifts in a month. 14 in a 28 day month. Admissions, rounds and discharges are average. Also assisted by a full time RN Care Coordinator that does a lot of coordination work both with patients and staff.
One hospital location but if you prefer to pick up extra shifts you may work at another facility for that. Minneapolis is still one of the best places to raise a family and for affordability.
