7 on 7off schedule coming once this is filled - Two Board Certified Internists or Med Ped physicians are being sought to join four busy Hospitalists in Jackson, Mississippi. This group handles the admissions for

30+ primary care physicians in the community. As soon as the sixth physician is employed, the

group will transition to a 7 days on/7 days off shift schedule with no requirement to stay overnight in

hospital . There will be three physicians working each day from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Night call will be every third night and will be handled by telephone. Daily admissions average

6 to 8 patients per day. Average volume for each physician is 50 inpatient admissions per month plus

consultations. This is an employed position and the financial package includes a salary of $200,000

with potential for a $20,000 bonus based on customer satisfaction; 1 week CME, 401(k) retirement, and

a generous relocation/moving allowance that includes a house-hunting trip.

Metropolitan area in Jackson, MS - has a population of 440,000. Known as the â€œCrossroads of the Southâ€

because of its geographic location, is only 3 Â½ hours from Memphis, 3 hours from New Orleans, 5 Â½ hours from

Atlanta, and 6 hours from Dallas. Primarily known for its southern hospitality and relaxed lifestyle, Jackson

offers all of the amenities of a large city without the congestion or faster pace.
