UPMC Northwest is a state of-the-art facility and part of the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, which has over 48,000 employees and serves the needs of more than 4 million patients each year. Seneca is located in western Pennsylvania, halfway between Pittsburgh and Erie. Situated in the foothills of the Allegheny Mountains and on the banks of the Allegheny River, this growing area is four hours from Toronto, Ontario, Canada, two hours from Cleveland, Ohio, and 90 miles north of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Rolling hills and expansive forests are a beautiful part of Cranberry Township that creates a notable recreational area.
We are seeking a Hospitalist Medical Director who will be the keystone of this local hospitalist group. The performance of this individual will affect all aspects of the delivery of patient care services. In conjunction with the hospital and nursing administrators, the Medical Director will provide the overall leadership and management necessary for the efficient operation of the Hospitalist Program. The ideal candidate demonstrates a high degree of clinical expertise working with medically complex patients having acute and chronic illnesses as well as leadership skills. Benefits include a great salary package, 401K, health insurance and malpractice. A yearly stipend provided for the Medical Director.

The ideal candidate is a self-motivated practitioner willing to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team providing comprehensive care to hospitalized patients.
